RentHash is a crypto hashpower marketplace operating at renthash.io. We provide a platform for renting mining hashpower using cryptocurrency payments, without requiring user registration.
2. Data we collect
RentHash is designed with minimal data collection. When you place an order, we collect:
- Mining pool configuration — host, port, worker/username, and password you provide. This is required to direct the hashpower.
- Payment transaction ID (TXID) — to verify on-chain payment.
- Cryptocurrency payment details — currency, network, amount.
- Email address (optional) — only if you voluntarily provide it for order notifications. You may skip this completely to remain anonymous.
- IP address and browser info — stored in standard server logs for security and abuse prevention.
3. What we do NOT collect
- Name or personal identity
- Physical address
- Government-issued identification
- Payment card details
- Social media or third-party account information
4. How we use your data
- To configure and fulfill your hashpower order
- To verify your payment on the blockchain
- To send order status notifications (only if you provided an email)
- To prevent fraud and abuse
5. Data sharing
We do not sell your data. Your pool configuration is shared with MiningRigRentals (MRR) solely to configure the rented mining rigs for your order. No personal information is shared. Blockchain transactions are publicly visible by the nature of distributed ledger technology.
6. Data retention
Order data including pool configuration and payment details is retained for a minimum period necessary to resolve disputes and provide order history. You may request deletion of your order data by contacting us.
7. Cookies
We use only essential session cookies necessary for form submission (CSRF protection). No tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies are set.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us via the contact page.
9. Security
All connections are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Pool passwords and sensitive order data are stored encrypted. We apply industry-standard measures to protect stored data.
